Summer time - vacation time. Many of you will be heading to the sea especially with the hot temperatures these weeks. Whether the Baltic Sea or the North Sea, you often pass Bremen. A detour to Worpswede is worthwhile there. Worpswede, a small artists' village in the Teufelsmoor, is still shaped by the great Art Nouveau painter, Heinrich Vogler. His idyllically located Barkenhoff is still an attraction for visitors from near and far after more than a hundred years. The Linnehus is tucked away directly across the street from the Barkenhoff. Renate Bahmann presents textile art, embroidery, Scandinavian design and fashion here.
This summer you will find a small but fine exhibition of the workshop for historical embroidery patterns in the Linnehus. Our models and embroideries can still be seen in the Linnehus until the third week of August.
And here is the address:
Linnehus, Ostendorfer Str. 31, Worpswede Attention: Please note the opening hours.
All vacationers have magical holidays, beautiful textile experiences and a safe return home!
